Mens Rugby 08/09

INTRODUCTION

London South Bank Rugby Club is one of the University’s longest running and most successful sports clubs. The club is run totally by students for students with the valuable support of South Bank’s successful Athletic Union. There have been a lot of changes at the club in recent years in order to increase the standard and participation of club activity. The club is now in a better position than ever before to offer students competitive but also enjoyable and sociable rugby.
We have professional coaching on Monday evenings at our nearby Dulwich sports fields and run one team, that competes in the BUCS championships

The social aspect of the club is probably one of the more high profile at the University and it is important to us that this is maintained. After matches or friendly games on Wednesday afternoons, or sometimes even training on Monday evenings, the Rugby team can be found in the Student Union Bar enjoying cheap beer and a great atmosphere.  As such the Rugby club is a brilliant club to join for new or existing students and helps you meet people and make lasting friends while at London South Bank.
