GREAT NEWS FOR STUDENTS!
After a few months of campaigning and lobbying by the last year's S.U. President Victor Ofosu, VP Welfare & Campaigns Sam Cunningham, and VP Communications Ali Ghaffari about extending the openning hours of the Perry Library, and the LRC, finally it was agreed that the University will keep the Library and the LRC open until midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Therefore the PERRY LIBRARY and the LRC are OPEN UNTIL MIDNIGHT EVERY DAY.
Also for the first time this year the library and the LRC will be staying open on May Day bank holiday and the late spring holiday.
The changes were effective from 30th April 2007.
The Students' Union's Sabbatical Officers would like to thank Mr Robert Hall, Director of the Centre for Learning Support and Development, who has kindly helped us.
We are also looking to have computer rooms in some of the residence halls such as McLaren House.
